Footprints in Dubai

 

As i came to realize Dubai is one of those cities that’s so much more than meets the eye. So much to enjoy, and just a few days within which to do all the soul wants. I could have sworn the 120hrs were more than enough when i left JKIA. Last Easter i dug into my list and picked Dubai, and as usual,my experience in photos. I might need to apologize in advance,the photos are double the usual.

 

A full course buffet dinner along with a live show and a 2 hour cruise was a great way to combine dining with sightseeing one of Dubai’s most iconic areas. The lavish architecture of residences, resorts and shopping facilities as well as some of the most eminent attractions that dot the region,Best views ever!!!

The city tour was exceptional!

A Dubai tour is incomplete without the D.S. Escaping from mundane city life as we indulged in the amazing experience of a desert safari was life!! We were picked up from our hotel to explore the city’s sandy dunes and later indulged in a BBQ dinner along with activities like belly dancing. I could tell our driver was an expert, he understood  the terrain well and really amazed me with the twists and turns. The drive across the sands is sure to etch memories for a lifetime in ones mind!!

Launched on valentines day 2013 the miracle garden is picturesque to say the least. It is one of a kind in the region and in the world, a must visit if you ever find yourself touring the city.

And lastly, the fountain dance on the 30-acre man made Burj Khalifa Lake
