The basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure,so i believe. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences. Is there any greater joy than having an endlessly changing horizon for each day and a different new sun? I do not think so.

Hello my dear readers,i trust 2019 is treating you well. Well am here seated tossing a ten cent coin a colleague just handed over to me wondering what heading to give this post. It’s too hot for starters, the only place i’ d rather be is at the bottom of a pool but anyway, lets tell this story, who knows, this place could be one of my readers nirvana.

Last week was my birthday. I initially wanted something thrilling for the weekend but we cannot always have what we want when we want it and such is life. What we cannot do is give up. If the experience below is anything to go by then you’d know i aint complaining. Elementaita is no new name especially to my country people though my today’s focus is some countryside charm, Lemon valley farm estate. It’s located off the Nakuru-Nairobi highway, between Kikopey and Nakuru town opposite the turn off into Soysambu Conservancy. Located atop the Kasmbara Hills with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Elementaita and the endless plains of SoySambu Conservancy, Lemon Valley Farm is the perfect getaway to soak in all of Mother Nature’s goodness.

Before the eyes from the cabin lay a magnificent view of Lake Elementaita to the left, and an endlessness of almost a calming nothing extending to the horizon where the sun sets

The wide open windows showcase the panoramic lake views and connects you to the complete natural beauty that the farm overlooks.

The canteen is neither fussy nor formal, the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed with end to end views of Lake Elementaita and Soysambu conservancy.

Lemon valley farm estate is another item off my bucket list thanks to Stejos tours.  I really had such an amazing time. I feel like the foodie in me is making some contribution here lol but that aside Lemon valley has a different vibe.

I however cannot leave without telling you what to do when there. On site there is Swimming, Kids pony rides & playground, Farm tour, Hiking and Bird watching. Off site there is Horse riding and Quad biking.

Its always a pleasure having you here as usual. Do all have a lovely weekend ahead. Till next time, cheers

Ray
