Malindi is a popular tourist destination at the Kenyan north coast, an hours flight from Nairobi with so much to offer. So what is it that you and your girls can do in a day?
Book a spa treatment.
If you are searching for a spa day with your girlies you’ll never go wrong with Diamond dream of Africa’s but i’d highly recommend a hydrotherapy bath that goes for Ksh 1,500 per hour per person.
Have lunch by the beach.
Head over to Malaika beach restaurant for a sumptuous salad as you enjoy direct access to the sea and crystal clear ocean. You can enjoy a swim as you wait for the food to be ready or after or just chill on the beds. Their menu was under 2,000 and there were charges for the beds and towels which if my memory serves me right was 500bob per bed+towel.
Try out Italian pizza.
For the best pizza experience you and the girls can head over to baby marrow Italian restaurant along silver sand road. They keep it fresh and the art around is easy on the eye, who knows, you could get a piece to gift someone.
Coffee hang out.
Catch up with your besties over a great cup of coffee at Lo sfizio coffee shop in town. The ambience is good and they have good food as well. The prices are also very reasonable.
Chill over cocktails by the ocean.
If coffee ain’t it for you and your besties, leopard point luxury beach resort and spa has amazing cocktails and the sunset views are better from there. The atmosphere is great as well. The views of the ocean from the ocean restaurant are amazing.
Overall.
Malindi is an excellent destination for a girls day out. Whether you’re looking to spoil yourselves at the top luxury spas or you want to indulge your taste buds and get a tarn, there are options for everyone.
