The Longonot loft

Hey there, i trust 2022 is as kind to you as it’s been to me. Am here wondering whether to watch selling sunset Sn 4 or just do this but since we here let’s get it over and done with. Last week i and the girlies had the pleasure of staying at the Longonot loft and what a relaxing stay we had!

The Longonot Loft is a 10minutes drive off moi south lake in Impala estate on the foothills of Mount Longonot. The loft offers it’s inhabitants a fantastic cozy retreat to spend holidays luxuriating with warm and comfortable living spaces.

There is plenty of space to invite friends to dine and then retreat in the heavenly living room, next to a roaring fireplace. This stunning home showcases a mix of wood, stone and steel to create warm and rustic interiors. Expansive windows perfectly frames both the rush vegetation and rugged mountain views, making it such a peaceful and relaxing retreat.

The designers created a harmonious flow from one space to the next, from an open concept kitchen to the great room to an outdoor patio that is fully shaded. Next to the patio is the swimming pool.

The pool area

The loft is 100% solar powered. The open plan kitchen features a large granite top and seats around it very ideal for social cooking.

The house happens to be self catering but a chef is available on request.

At full capacity the house accomodates 5 people. It features two bedrooms with the all ensuite master bedroom on the ground floor. The loft is right above it with a king-size bed, a single bed and a couch.

The residents

There are alot of activities you can do while staying here as i had documented here earlier though during our stay we only managed to visit Ranch House Bistro for lunch. We were hoping to catch a movie but they weren’t showing that night. You can follow me on Instagram @ms_mutegi and Twitter @ms_mutegi for a recap of the experience and future experiences.

The loft is as gorgeous as it looks on photos, the views amazing and the staff great. Mary was so good to us.

As usual thank you so much for stopping by and do have a lovely weekend ahead.
