Sometimes our limitations tell us when to stop, sometimes they show us where to look next. Happy new week! I trust you had a great weekend as i which am here to leave a short read about. The goal is to discover new hidden gems, to inspire you to travel. Forgive me if i tend to lean so much towards Kajiado county. Last time i was in Kajiado i did mention the county has so much to offer and that list keeps growing by day. At this point am convinced Kajiado is my one true love. I keep coming back, i never seem to have enough of her charm. She keeps making it more interesting with every visit, she has me under her spell and i like it.

Footprints in Namibia

Visiting Namibia has been my dream for 3 years or so now . I’ve always wanted to visit deadvlei, see the desert and particularly the part where it meets the Atlantic and of course catch the sunset from the desert. As I stood overlooking the desert one evening with strong winds blowing across ,the sun setting to the west and moon rising from the east, marveling at the rhythmic, undulating hills and dunes of the desert before me, that dream had come true. I had visited the desert and was spending at a desert lodge where I would gaze at a million stars and the moon that night, smiling at the fact that I was finally somewhere I had dreamed about under the same stars thousands of miles away.

Hola👋. I trust you’ve been well and coping with this unpredictable cold weather. Honestly i can’t wait for the sunny days again because aaarrrgh, it’s killing me. Besides the weather i have been glued to The world’s most amazing vacation rentals which is the main reason this post wasn’t up by Wednesday latest🤭. That series is dope, i’d highly recommend it for any traveler.

If you follow me on the socials (Incase you’d like to Insta- @ms_mutegi , twitter @ms_mutegi ) you already know early this month i got to spend the weekend at one on the most sumptuous properties within Kajiado. One thing i love about the county is that It’s hard to beat the ease and beauty of getting around. It Doesn’t take much of your time on the road and the drive is always refreshingly scenic. You’ll never go wrong with that general area, the only hard part is deciding where to stay simply because of the sheer number of holiday homes available . Quite a number of them will sweep you away, they’ll have you spoilt for choice, they’ll not make that choice any easy for you, they’ll make you wanna come back so good luck settling on one, you’ll need it.
